Best Bet of the Week: manke***

by GemBet
exciting wins

This week, our Best Weekly Bet Bonus goes to a player who wagered just SGD 3 and walked away with SGD 1,955. They are just one of the bettors winning big on the 2022 World Cup, making this one of the most exciting tournaments to date!

There were seven selections in total: 4 World Cup bets and 3 UEFA Women’s Champions League. The bets are listed below.

Switzerland vs Cameroon (Draw-Switzerland – 4.50)

Many experts predicted a relatively comfortable win for the Swiss, but that wasn’t the case. The game was 0-0 at half-time, and when Breel Embolo passed the ball into the net after 48 minutes, the bet was on.

Switzerland held onto a 1-0 victory, giving them the perfect start to the competition and this bet as well.

Portugal vs Ghana (Both Teams to Score – 2.18)

The Both Teams to Score bet appeared dead when it was still 0-0 after an hour of action, but Ronaldo won a controversial penalty, and everything changed.

The former Man Utd striker converted the penalty, and when Ayew equalized just 8 minutes later, the bet was in the bag. Portugal eventually won the game 3-2, turning what seemed like a dull draw into a high-scoring affair.

Uruguay vs South Korea (Draw-Draw – 5.10)

Uruguay has some incredible players, including Nunez and Suarez, but South Korea can also look to Tottenham’s Son to score. On paper, Uruguay had the better team, but it seemed like it was going to be a close game, and many were predicting goals.

Our bettor had other ideas, opting for a draw at half-time and full-time, and they called it right. In the end, it was a draw, with the aforementioned strikers failing to meet expectations.

Brazil vs Serbia (Anytime Goalscorer, Richarlison – 2.90)

All eyes were on Neymar for Brazil’s opener, but Richarlison made the headlines. The Tottenham striker bagged a brace, including a spectacular second goal that was arguably the best of the competition to that point.

Our bettor only needed one Richarlison goal to keep things going. They got more than their money’s worth as Brazil went on to win 2-0.

Juventus (W) vs Arsenal (W) (Both Teams to Score – 1.64)

There would have been some nervy moments when this game was 0-0 at half-time, but it didn’t last.

Juventus opened the scoring after 52 minutes with a goal from Beerensteyn, followed by an equalizer from Miedema less than 10 minutes later.

The game ended 1-1, so neither team got the points they needed, but that wouldn’t have mattered to our bettor.

Barcelona (W) vs Bayern Munich (W) (-1.5 Barcelona – 1.79)

Barcelona cruised to victory in this game, despite leaving it until the second half to take the lead.

They won 3-0, with goals from Geyse, Bonmati, and Pina. It was a comfortable win for them and our bettor, who banked on the home team to win by at least two clear goals.

Lion City Sailors FC (W) vs Borussia Dortmund (W) (Over 4.5 Goals – 1.53)

Borussia Dortmund (W) walked away 7-2 winners in this contest, finishing the game on a high and providing relief for our bettor.

It was a dominant performance from the Bundesliga team. Five or more goals were needed, and there were a total of 9. The fifth was scored with over 20 minutes left to play.
